From the Blackheart Man family: a tall man dressed all in black who travels the island at night — the universal Jamaican childhood warning: behave and come inside, or the Blackheart Man will get you.
Tonal thorn-heart vine design across the seat, woven into the fabric. Antique-gold 876 at the front of each leg, with the MYAL name in blackletter above the left one. No back pockets — the back carries the design only.
Why this piece — the universal Jamaican childhood warning: behave and come inside, or the Blackheart Man will get you.
