MYAL runs two ways, and every piece in the store is one or the other.
Drop pieces — pre-order
Drop pieces are limited runs. When a drop opens, orders are collected during the pre-order window posted with the drop. When the window closes, the whole batch is produced in one run and shipped together. Each drop posts its own order window and its own ship timeframe up front, before anyone pays — so you know the terms before you order, not after.
Every drop also has a production minimum: the number of pieces that has to be reached for the run to happen. If a drop does not reach its minimum, buyers choose a full refund or a transfer of their payment to another piece — and that is posted with the drop, before the window opens, never decided after.
Everyday pieces — made to order
The rest of the catalog is made to order, one piece at a time, and ships in days — the same production and shipping times set out in our shipping policy. No window to wait on, no batch to fill.
Pieces move between the two
An everyday piece that proves itself can move into drop production, and a drop piece that keeps selling can join the everyday catalog. How a piece is made follows how it sells.
